The Peacock Tarantula is an Old World species of tarantula native to India and the only blue one of its genus. They live in holes in trees where they construct asymmetrical webs. These blue beauties can only be found in a small area of less than 40 square miles. This species is rather skittish and there has never been a recorded human death from its bite!
