On Monday there was an unexpected situation at work whilst filming Ride Like A Girl. My horse Lord, playing Prince of Penzance decided to go full method acting and with me on his back galloped nearly 2kms round Flemington racecourse! (He probably thought he’d won the cup..) Thanks to all the training I’ve had with my amazing horse riding mentor, Clerk of the Course, Peter Patterson, I was able to ride Lord down until he slowed. I jumped off when it felt safe enough. I’m feeling fine, everyone was a little shaken up but all is well and I got back on the horse... literally. Thanks for the concern #jockeysarenuts #ridelikeaboss #illsticktoactingthanks
