ナチス党政権が行った「アウシュビッツ＝ビルケナウ強制収容所」での大虐殺から逃れ、解放されたMiriam Sharirさん。助かったのは7500人だけでした。彼女は、アウシュヴィッツを出た後に結婚をし、子どもたち、孫たちに自身が経験した悲劇を伝えつづけたそうです。
彼女の過去、そして解放された後に見た景色を、世界に発信しようと決めたのは孫である世界中の雑誌や新聞からオファーを受ける、フリーのカメラマンです。
During the Nazi regime, about 1,100,000 people were kept inside German Nazi concentration camps and extermination centers. Only about 7500 survived. Miriam Sharir is one of the few who managed to escape. She got married and had children, and kept telling her stories to the younger generations. Her grandson Noam Chen created this series of pictures to share her stories with the world.
