You need to see how the American veterinary associations and their declawing vets stop our anti-declawing legislation.
They send letters of opposition to legislators like this one that was sent to stop the bill in #California last month.

How can any vet, in good conscience, say that a 10-20 toe bone amputation is no more painful than a common spay or neuter? ?
Canadian vets are working to end this very unethical and inhumane procedure in their country. Now that they know better, they are doing better.

American veterinary associations fight aggressively and with lots of money to stop our bills so their vets can keep amputating cat's toe bones and claws.
Please remember to always take the high road and respectfully educate people about this inhumane and mutilating procedure. Never threaten anyone. It hurts the cause. It's wrong. It often hurts me when you do.
