Today we introduce @janklos_photo ✨Jan Klos presents a selection of images from the series Queens at home- “The internet is full of images of drag performers, whether from fashion shoots or social media posts, and I wanted to turn my lens on them in a unique way. Queens at Home is probably my most personal project to date as many of the sitters were introduced to me by my partner who is also a drag performer. As his drag career has developed, I have become more familiar with this scene and got to know some of the queens personally. Shooting the queens in their homes is also a playful nod to the idea of drag houses, as popularised by documentary Paris in Burning. In each picture we meet the queen of the house.”#janklos ✨#milanophotoweek
