If you are curious the BMG stands for Bulk Metallic Glass which is a new case material created by Panerai. It is a metal alloy with an amorphous structure versus a crystalline structure. This allows for fewer surface imperfection. It is 2-3 times stronger and scratch resistant than stainless steel. It'd also lighter and more resistant to corrosion. #PaneraiCentral
