"We usually understand freedom through its opposite, captivity. To me, this image deals with the juxtaposition of these two concepts: From the sealed jar, isolated pedestal and stark room we get confinement, whereas the prism of light entering from the left side of the room, from somewhere outside, suggests an alternative place that might look like freedom. I think this image leads to a lot of other open-ended questions too, about life and death, nature and artifice, and the scope of time." - @drakeycake
