Every June 5 has been dubbed by the United Nation "World Environment Day", on which worldwide awareness and action for the protection of environment are observed annually on a global scale.

As the national carrier, THAI is dedicated to actively promoting environmental conservation through our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives under the umbrella of THAI's "Travel Green" concept, with emphasis on climate change, sustainable material management, sustainable use of resources, as well as biodiversity and ecosystem services. Taking into account the environmental impact of aviation business operations and company activities, THAI has focused on improving efficient use of raw materials, energy, and water resources in order to better manage their impact on the environment.
