It's annual team photo time at @kurandakoalagardens ??? This wildlife park is located in the heart of #Kuranda, which is a small rainforest village just 30 minutes from the tropical city of #Cairns. Apparently, fossil evidence shows that koalas originally lived in rainforest environments but adapted to eat eucalyptus leaves as Australia became drier and eucalypt forests replaced many of the rainforests. So, although you wouldn't think it with their fluffy coats, #koalas are actually quite at home here in this part of @queensland.
