I didn’t know him personally but his life had an effect on me and so many. His POV, his willingness to be self-reflective, his courage to lean into discomfort and things unknown, his ability to find a beauty and a sensuality in places we forget to look and taste. It is heartbreaking to think that someone who brought so much to the world would think that taking his own life was his best choice. We never know what someone is going through or feeling behind their eyes and within their hearts. Please be kind, compassionate and gentle with each other. May you Rest In Peace, #AnthonyBourdain.
