the last time I set foot in a classroom was over a decade ago. Coming back here and seeing the classrooms, lunch tables, and playground not only brought back so many memories, but also made me realize that in some ways I am still that same shy little girl who was utterly mortified about her first day at a new school. As much as I try to be fearless, there have been, without a doubt, situations where I feel the exact same way as back then. It always feels like things are much more complicated in the heat of the moment. Looking back at it now, those feelings of terror seemed so stupid. However, it was because of those situations I was able to gradually learn how to power through these emotions.

It's just truly so amazing how much has changed, yet stayed the same. I'm so thankful to have had the chance to stop by my elementary school. It allowed me to reflect on my little journey and instantly reminded me of those countless fearless dreams I fantasized about as that shy little girl. ❤️ #Reminiscing
