I’ve been spending time in Sitka before my time cruising Alaska’s inside passage with @uncruise.
.
Between learning about the Tlingit people, the Russian occupation and sale to the US, and enjoying local craft beer I’ve fallen in love with this town.
.
This was during my hike through the National Historical Park. With several trails, you could easily spend an afternoon here amongst nature.
.
If you find yourself stopping in Sitka, do yourself a favor and spend a few days here, there’s a wealth of nature, art and history to keep you busy.
