Today is #WorldRefugeeDay. Rarely, if ever, has there been greater need for principled leadership, courageous compassion and thoughtful, bipartisan solutions. For those able and inclined please donate to organizations that are putting people on the ground and doing this vital work. My favorites are @inaraorg, @refugeesintl, @warchildusa, @fortifyrights and @theirc.

As always, if you cannot offer financial support right now please give of your voice and your time. Educate yourself on the facts and discuss with your family, friends, colleagues and social networks. Spread the word and the works of the organizations above.
