‪Do you want to know how you can help #refugeefamilies on #WorldRefugeeDay? @elpidahome has been oases of dignity and empowerment for children & their families. They are incredible! This is where I’m sending my support. ? Today on #WorldRefugeeDay take also time to learn more about this issue so we can collectively provide solutions. Person by person, family by family. Yesterday I watched the #InsideMyHeart #documentary which has remarkable cinematography and takes you on a journey of 3 #RefugeeFamilies. The journey with them is so incredibly intimate and honest. You will witness their daily thoughts & endless fight to find solutions for their families safe lives. You will see the resilience which they had to build-in to survive, but also the ongoing struggle and the fear for the lives of their children and loved ones.
#DebraKellner directed this film and her goal was to create a documentary about refugees with a happy ending. See it to find out if she was able to achieve that, but mainly to learn about the #refugeecrises from the human to human perspective.
