South Sudan, the world’s youngest nation, has suffered with the 5 years of civil war. Though hope is raised for peace because of the meeting between the bitter rivals - the country's President Salva Kiir and his former deputy Riek Machar - for the first time for two years, the situation still remain very fragile and nearly two-thirds of the population are extremely in poverty and need of food aid. That is one of the biggest reasons so many South Sudanese, like those from other parts of war zones, still try to cross the Mediterranean Sea.
