What does success look like? When all of us have the opportunity to be successful. “I think starting out, I just had this thing in me that I had to do. And at the time, the conversation around equality wasn’t even happening so it didn’t occur to me that I was a minority.” These are the words of our own Rebecca Minkoff, reflecting on starting her business in the male-dominated fashion industry well over a decade ago. “I had not just fear of failure, but definite failure.” Nevertheless, she persisted.
