金曜日。仕事をやめた。いろんな人が仕事を辞めるという経験をするけど、自分で経験しないとこの気持ちをわからないと思う。正直にいうと、月曜日オフィスに行かなくてもいいということがまだ信じられない。今まで仕事のおかげで安定な生活を送れて、旅行もたくさんできたが、これからどうやってお金を稼げるかわからない。その決断をするのに全く準備していなかったが、こういう大きな決断だと、どうせ準備はできないと思う。「いいタイミング」というのがない。そういうのを言い訳として何もしない人が多い。しかし、「やらないと後悔する」と少しだけでも思っていたら、やるしかない。成功したら勝ち、失敗しても経験になるから。今迷っていることありますか？ On Friday, I officially quit my comfortable corporate job. I know there’s been countless people who have done what I just did, but I guess you never really know how it will actually feel until you do it yourself. Honestly, it hasn’t quite hit me yet that on Monday, I won’t have to go into the office, or that I’ve gone from having a stable income & benefits that allowed me to fund my travels & live an extremely comfortable life, to not really knowing how I’ll be making money month to month. Was I 100% ready for this decision? Absolutely not. But if there’s anything I’ve learned, you won’t ever feel ready. There’s never “the right moment”. You can always find an excuse to not take a chance, because it’s easier & more comfortable to stay where you’re at.But if you have even the slightest thought that you might regret not taking the chance, then take the chance. Because if the risk you take pans out, it’s all good. And if it doesn’t.. well, you’ll learn to justify it as a learning experience.
