I’m at Starbucks, and the valet parking delivered this package with 3 cans of formula for the kids plus 2 Koans (Rumi was not Japanese but it’s still a Koan). It’s a birthday present, apparently by @valeriasu__ I say apparently because I’m guessing based on the description given by the valet parking guy. A true Koan is a small poem reflecting the whole Universe because it was written by an Enlightened Being. “The Temple bell stops but the sound keeps coming out of the flowers.” Jesus used to say that if you happened to silent him, the stones and rocks would start to sing. He is saying the same thing said by this Koan: If you silence your mind you’ll be able to listen to the Heartbeat of the Universe, what my real father, not the Biological idiot used to call Silent Knowledge. Or in easier terms, what The Jedi call The Force. So the key to becoming a Jedi is to silent the mind. It’s always a special day when I encounter a picture of my son Tianxia.
