In 1913, Pierre de Coubertin drew by hand what would become the Olympic symbol and illustrate the philosophy of Olympism.

Today is 23 June, the date on which Olympic Day has been celebrated worldwide since 1948.
This date is a reference to 23 June 1894, when Pierre de Coubertin, with the representatives of 12 countries gathered at the Sorbonne in Paris, decided to revive the Olympic Games!
