With its stately cream-coloured homes, Belgravia has come to be known for its beautiful architecture. Much of this area was the creation of Thomas Cubbitt, a middle-class builder who had vision and drive. He surprised everyone by becoming one of the most important architects of our city. His vision of London is what we see now in much of Pimlico, Bloomsbury and Belgravia. And we now have a fine little drinking establishment in the heart of Belgravia to remind us of the wonderful work of Mr. Cubbitt! #HiddenLondon
