After having a 10 year love affair with yoga, I decided, at the beginning of this year, that I wanted to learn more about it and it’s history. So, I did my teacher training with @yogahaven_teach, by the lovely Allie Hill... I didn’t really know if I would actually go as far as teaching classes, as my interest was purely to expand my knowledge... but as the training went on... I felt more and more that I wanted to share the beauty and benefit of this practice with as many people as possible.

Learning to teach has been transformative... mostly because of the group of amazing souls I shared the experience with.... and the teachers that imparted their knowledge and wisdom as well as encouraging and supporting us all. But the biggest challenge was finding my voice as a teacher.... figuring out the kind of teacher I wanted to be... Just finding your own style to explain a sequence... it’s amazing how you forget words you’ve used your entire life, when you have a room full of people waiting to be guided by you ?... And while this journey is ongoing... today, I officially taught my first full class... and I never felt so proud, elated and grateful. On this beautiful strawberry full moon...
