I’ve really enjoyed the solos I’ve done this week for the film we’re shooting. There is something so beautifully simple about interacting with the rock without the faff of gear and ropes. Sometimes I feel more exposed and vulnerable without ropes but most of the time soloing narrows my focus to the bubble of what’s right here and that feels safe.
