Some archaeologists believe that indigenous people of the Americas populated the continents by traveling across the Siberian peninsula, from the West to the East as if following the setting sun. These earrings draw materiality from such a pre-historic trail. This inlaid white ivory is in fact ancient fossilized walrus ivory from Alaska, and this Turquoise comes from the landscape of Arizona, at the foothills of the Rockies. Together inlaid in 18K gold, these sun earrings are entirely handmade in NYC.
