Third generation owner Ian Ginsberg scrolls back in time on our antique ladder 🕰️ Part of our unique legacy has been the passing of ownership from employer to employee. Clarence Otis Bigelow, who worked alongside founder Dr. Galen Hunter for years, purchased the store and renamed it C.O. Bigelow in 1880. In 1939, the pharmacist Bluestone sold the store to Ian's grandfather, William B. Ginsberg. Ever since, the Ginsberg family has been dedicated to preserving our history, with fourth generation pharmacist Alec Ginsberg as its successor.
