Man, life is crazy... life is beautiful. When I was 15, trying to land my first acting job, I’d walk through theatre row at dusk just to feel the energy, to soak in the excitement. I couldn’t afford a ticket to a Broadway show, but I’d save up to buy standing room every once in a while and dream of what it would be like to actually get to go back stage, see the machinery, talk shop with the actors... Today I had two tickets in my name for @anastasiabway... one of them for my oldest daughter. I watched her experience the magic of live theater, meet the stellar cast with stars in her eyes, and then hang out with one of my favorite humans - a woman who first played my mother on stage at 16 before becoming everyone’s all-time Grams - the supernatural #MaryBethPeil. So many crazy, frustrating, uncertain moments on this journey, but every in a while the universe clicks into place and you realize you just hit a jackpot. Tonight was one of those moments.
