So yesterday was a wild day. I had a few things to celebrate ☺️☺️ I’m still pinching myself over the Emmy Nomination for #GreysAnatomyBTeam and I got to play #LucilleBall in front of a live audience for the first time last night. It was a banner day :) So, at the end of my time on Grey’s, #ChandraWilson gave me these beautiful @SWAROVSKI champagne glasses and reminded me to celebrate everything. EVERYTHING, guys!! Doesn’t have to be big- doesn’t have to be small- just be in the habit of stopping, taking it all in, and celebrating.
Yesterday she texted me to congratulate me (she is the one who lovingly and patiently taught me how to direct) and she finished her message to me by saying “don’t forget to dance!” So My hubby and I cracked open a bottle of bubbly last night and we did a little dancing!!
I want to take her advice to heart... to be in the habit of celebration in my life- no matter how big or small the thing is. So, what are you gonna celebrate today???? @latheatreworks #ilovelucy #danceitout #celebrate
