?Here’s a great shot of the Museum’s pediment by @madshauch. A pediment is a large triangular feature usually supported by columns. Here you can make out how the sculptures in the pediment are three dimensional – inspired by the buildings of ancient Greece. The original 1840s designs for this part of the Museum showed white sculptures on a bright blue background.
