OK, HERE'S YOUR TURN TO SHOW ME YOU WANT TO HELP! ??
These three kitties, Abby, Ryder, and Teeger, were declawed by a longtime @avmavets (AVMA) and American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP)vet at an American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) hospital.
The owners were TALKED OUT of the humane alternatives and told that declawing is a standard and common procedure and their kitties will be fine.?
Well they weren't. They suffered horrific complications from their paws being wrapped and they all lost ALL or part of their paws and their lives are RUINED!
PLEASE post photos of your kitties with messages to the AVMA, AAHA, and AAFP to completely condemn declawing and make it below the standard of care! AAHA AND AAFP SHOULD NOT ALLOW DECLAWING IN THEIR PRACTICES!
PLEASE put the hashtags, #AVMA , #AVMA2018 , #AAHAday, #AAFP, #CATfriendly and #catvets on your photos especially on instagram.
Let's use their hashtags to inspire them to do THE RIGHT THING.
The AVMA's convention is going on this weekend in Denver so let's see how many photos we can get in! And isn’t it awesome and ironic that Denver recently banned this inhumane and barbaric procedure!
