This picture is so important to me. This is my family, and honestly these are my kids and friends for life. I was lucky enough to benefit from their extraordinary talents while nurturing them and help launching their careers that all have soared and have so often surpassed any accomplishments I could have dreamed of for them.

@jonmchu You are an angel who was sent to me from heaven or southern Cali or wherever you’re from and have grown as a film maker every movie you make. Your love of dance is unsurpassed in our world and pushes me, and I cannot wait for your new one, #crazyrichasians Coming out so soon!!!
And baby @jamizzi You have saved me at every turn and we have built the step up city together one stone at a time. Congratulations on your directing debut, the amazing documentary #whenthebeatdrops . It is sensitive and beautifully crafted with warmth and heart to spare and energy to live by.
