Winter Blueberry Lattes ?☁️✨ My latest latte innovation and current crush. I know these Dream Latte ...or Soul Latte (Sweet child has many names, as we say in Finland ?) crushes have changed quite quickly with me lately, but I’m apparently going through some creative latte phase in my life atm and new ideas just keep popping up. But back to this Winter Blueberry Latte baby. Omg. Just the perfect thing at this time of the year. Blended 1 heaping tablespoon blueberries with 1,5 cup oat milk, big dash of cardamom, ceylon cinnamon and vanilla in a blender, warmed the mixture quickly in a saucepan and enjoyed it with raw organic honey (coconut syrup or other natural syrup of your choice will also do). I like to add spices quite generously to this but taste and find the perfect ammount for you. And note that the color of these lattes vary depending on the milk you use and if you use wild blueberries or those bigger blueberries. I use normally wild blueberries and oat milk and the color turns beautifully purple, but if you let the mixture stand a while it will turn darker and more blue & gray. Have noticed also that with a different oat milk the color was more blue - apparently the alkalinity was different. But hey, If you try these add #winterblueberrylatte or #dreamlatte and tag @vanelja in the caption & in the photo so I’ll see your creations.
