De par son sujet et le traitement de celui-ci, cette œuvre s’inscrit dans le style du Caravage qui influença fortement Claude Vignon.

This work was painted circa 1623 by the French artist Claude Vignon (1593-1670). On a neutral background, a young singer depicted from the waist up holds a score in his hands. He looks out of the frame, his bright yellow sleeve catches our attention in the foreground.
According to its subject and its realization, this painting is in keeping with the Caravaggio’s style that strongly influenced Claude Vignon.
