Even when doctors were given no choice but to remove part of her leg, she kept on fighting. The surgeons decided to create a new leg for Abri from a donated arm bone which they would turn into a tibia, a creation that Abri called her "arg" (joining the words 'arm' and 'leg'). After adapting to her new life, Abri decided to be proactive and help other children battling cancer by visiting their homes.
