She’s my ride or die. ?⠀

When I found out that i was pregnant with Chloe, I cried. I was 24 years old, newly married and just at the beginning of my career. I was in no way ready to take care of another human being, when I could barely take care of myself. ? ⠀

After months of morning sickness, I grew really, really excited (and HUGE) and KNEW I was having a girl. Flash forward to May 25, 2001 and THE MOST dramatic birth ever (don’t know if that was indicative of me or her or both) when I met the person who would change me forever. ?⠀

The minute I saw her, I knew that being her mom would be the most important job I would ever have. I loved her fiercely and completely and more than I ever thought humanly possible. And I knew that i would protect her and raise her to be everything I wish I could be. ✨ ⠀

And I have. Chloe is the most kind hearted soul you will ever meet. She’s hilarious (something not many people realize), a little shy and extremely brave. She thinks through EVERYTHING before she does it, weighs every consequence and evaluates how it will affect everyone but herself. She’s strong and smart and impossibly stubborn. ?⠀

We have been through some unusual situations together (reality tv, anyone?) and sometimes I feel like it’s she and I against the world. And I wouldn’t want anyone else by my side. ? ⠀
