Beautiful @wenjing_chang modelling a spectacular Couture dress from @jgalliano’s tenure at @クリスチャンディオール for my Knights of Knightsbridge installation / building wrap in Knightsbridge, London.
It is a huge installation, where each image is 50 foot tall and there are 18 images in a celebration of some of the most amazing and inspiring fashion designers working today .
I want a multicultural take on the idea of the Knight , so this Samurai inspired piece by @jgalliano was perfect.
The material the images are ( beautifully) printed on is slightly translucent allowing the shadows of the beams and girders of the building behind to appear at certain times of the day as an abstract grid which plays of both the idea of construction and also looks like pixels . Perfect .
