I wanted to do a quick vid for moms and young girls who need guidance in this complex world of Instagram and YouTube tutorials
My friend @emily_summerss is in her teens and loves make up - as a mother I really want to help demonstrate examples of how these teens can have fun and explore with make up without compromising their personal attributes and values.
Emily has perfect skin , here I’m simply evening out her tone using @westmanatelier #vitalskinfoundationstick in Atelier III , it’s a light hand and a quick application.
I love the idea of girls , women , men doing their make up for their own personal affirmations, not that of others ..
In this day and age I feel that we have adequately proven how gracefully and efficiently we can operate . I believe strongly in enhancing what we have been given, not in transforming what we have to please anyone else.
If you as an individual need the transformational type of make over for yourself that’s one thing and not to be knocked or judged ..
However it’s so confusing and complicated for our young girls to navigate whIch direction they should take ..
I’m hoping to help with some really simple advice ! Emily also really likes contour, she’s a fan of @westmanatelier #facetrace #contour in #biscuit because it’s really velvety and super easy to blend, the shade is flattering on most skin tones with a very cool undertone , it’s a subtle emphasis of your beautiful cheekbones ..
