In 72 hours my team & I shot over 20,000 photographs while flying over the Aleutian Islands for a @conservationorg assignment. I was given a fellows grant to explore what I would consider to one of the last ‘wild places’ ... I chose the Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge that extends all the way to the far end of the Aleutian Chain. This trip has been a dream of mine for several years since first exploring it in 2013. My photoset is now the most extensive aerial documentation of the area.
There are still places that make my heart beat a little faster, lungs fill a little deeper & open my eyes to what beauty this world has to offer. This week I’ll be sharing some of the images & stories at @conservationorg ‘s feed. .
