Marine Iguanas enjoy a dive into the cold ocean. Since they’re cold blooded, though, their body temperature can drop down to 50 degrees Fahrenheit, similar to the waters around the Galapagos Islands. A post-dive sunbathe is always in order. During their sunbathe these lizards are vulnerable to predators. They need the heat to build up the energy to escape in time.
