Three days ago, I exchanged messages with our TBBT superfan @joesteiger as we often do in the years since I met him. He was feeling especially motivated to try and make the journey to Los Angeles to see a taping of the show that brought him so much joy. Joe was taken from this Earth yesterday at the age of 31 after losing his battle with Muscular Dystrophy. Our hearts are broken and we send prayers and wishes to his family. Joe was endlessly positive and funny and tender and thoughtful. He saw himself as someone who could change the way people thought about disability, challenges, and the power of communication even when it seems impossible. May his memory only be for a blessing. ♥️
