Six has ended prematurely, we had more stories to tell, more of their lives to explore and that’s unfortunate. But the truth is, every day, there are men and women in the armed forces much like we portray, whose lives sadly end prematurely, with more stories to tell, more of their lives to explore.
That’s the tragedy.
As for Bear, Rip, Caulder, Buddha, Michael, Chase, Lena, Fish, indeed every character on #Six is ready to tell the story again from the beginning, right now if you wish, and as many times as you wish. They exist for you. That’s the beauty of what we as actors do, we make words come to life and become living, breathing humans that people can watch and relate to.
I’m very proud of Six, we told stories that don’t sit comfortably with everybody, we shone a light on a portion of society whose stories, although often told are very rarely told with honesty and compassion. Thank you for taking the journey with us and the characters we played. I’m certain that in the future a new generation of people will find this show when it is indeed #History and take that journey again.
