My mom and I were physically ill after watching this 2018 YouTube video of a vet demonstrating how he laser declaws a cat with his clamp invention. ???
We see suffering in declawed kitties every single day but this was over the top brutal. We will have nightmares about this I’m sure. The scene looks like a torture chamber and in my opinion, the demeanor of this vet is cold and disturbing. #laserdeclaw
This vet, who has worked at an American Association of Feline Practitioners CAT FRIENDLY practice since 1997, shows how his clamp helps amputate the toe bones on kitties and he even sadistically pulls up the cat's leg and body by its claw. ???(The hospital where he works is also AAHA and @fearfreepets hospital.)
THE VIDEO IS GRAPHIC AND DISTURBING. ⛔️‼️ Do not swipe left if you don’t want to see this barbaric cruelty that is being done to around 5000 cats a day in America.
If you are going to @catconworldwide then please go to the American Association of Feline Practitioners @catfriendlyhomes booth and respectfully ask them why they are allowing this inhumane and mutilating procedure in their CAT FRIENDLY practices if they are OPPOSED TO IT!
Also email them at info@catvets.com and ask them when they will stop allowing this barbaric cruelty at their CAT FRIENDLY practices.
