So for whatever reason I keep coming across films that I had small parts in long ago. This little tidbit is from the #Hulk in 2003. It was a tiny role, but I was so excited to be directed by one of my favorites of all time, Ang Lee.
And as we #AAPI’s get ready to celebrate the release of @crazyrichasians -the first US studio movie with an all Asian cast in 25 years(!)- I’m reminded of the baby steps we’ve taken, and all those who struggled in anonymity to get to where we are today. There’s still a long way to go, but it’s important that we celebrate the successes we have and the progress we’ve made. Proud of all the people associated with #CrazyRichAsians and hope this is only the first of many projects like it. #representationmatters #fbf
