A moment of levity between the models @RuthnotMay and @NagyEvelinn is caught by photographer Pamela Hanson for the Autumn-Winter 2018-2019 campaign. In designing the collection, Maria Grazia Chiuri was heavily inspired by the youthful resistance of May 1968, a decade that had earlier witnessed cinema being turned on its head by the French New Wave, with the work of the revolutionary director Jean-Luc Godard being referenced here in both mood and subtitles.
