My husband and I recently spent some time with our family in Florida. If you’ve ever been to Florida you would find that it rains all the time out of NOWHERE! So one day we decided to take a boat out on the water and sure enough it started pouring down rain. After 15-20 minutes it started to clear up and slowly the sun started to peek out of the clouds. My husband could tell I was not happy with the storm - it was cold, wet, uncomfortable and pretty scary!!! But as soon as the sun came out it made it all worth it. My hubby said “sometimes you just gotta go through the rough to enjoy the sunshine.” In all honesty I never took a picture when it was raining because who wants to see that? But my husband got this picture of me looking at the dolphins swimming by our boat. It made me realize that no matter how ugly you think your situation is someone else may see it differently, God sees it differently. The 1st image is what we all think we’re supposed to post. “The good parts” “the fun and sunshine parts” but had I not got the image of the rain I would never remember the journey to sunshine. And the 3rd slide is a time lapse of how fast a storm would come and then go. Normally it would be dark and stormy, but this time the sun stayed out the whole time! I was upset at first because it didn’t illustrate what I wanted, but then my mother in-law said “I’ve never seen it do that before! Maybe God is trying to tell you something!” And then I smiled. He gave me a whole new perspective of the storms we face - 1. Storms will come and go - but no matter what your storm looks like He is with you in the midst of it always! 2. Sometimes we have to endure the pain, the rough, and tough times to enjoy the sunshine! 3. Endure the trials you face they will make you stronger. 4. Don’t be afraid to share the not so pretty parts. Your storm may help someone else. ?? xx
