She’s my baby love ? ⠀

After 8 years of Chloe being an only child, we got the Christmas surprise of a lifetime: I was having another baby. ? We had wanted another child after Chloe, but sometimes things don’t always work out the way you plan. After countless doctors appointments and questions, we resigned ourselves to the fact that we were supposed to be parents to just one little girl. And then Clara came along. ?⠀

Even when I was pregnant, we knew she was spunky. She NEVER stopped moving. Ever. And from the moment she was born, she had her own little personality. She was just one when Dance Moms started and it would have been easy for her to end up as “Chloe’s little sister”, but she has made sure that she’s her own person (true story: when she was about five, she was tried to change her last name so people wouldn’t even know she was related) and anyone who knows her, LOVES her. ?⠀

Clara can make friends with ANYONE and anything. She constantly chatters to everything around her: birds, people, teacups, napkins, etc. She loves all of God’s creatures and wouldn’t hurt a fly. She is so considerate of everyone, insanely smart, one of the funniest people I have ever met and is so earnest in everything she does. ? ⠀

Clara is still sassy and has a mind of her own. She reminds me a little of someone else in my house. ? When she is making me crazy, Marc will look at me and say “how does it feel to raise yourself??” ?⠀

I often tease her that she is the sprinkles on the cupcake of life because she adds all he fun, but she’s so much more. She was the missing puzzle piece to our little family of four and I couldn’t be more thankful to be her mom. ?⠀
