What do you use? #Repost @chrisjenkins_drums with @get_repost ・・・ So I’ve gotten a lot of questions about the swivel technique, alongside a few making fun of how it looks ofc ??‍♂️But this is a technique I’ve used for around 9 years now and has helped me greatly in regards to maintaining control at higher tempos. If you really want to give the Swivel Technique a go, I’d give it a month or so of practice so that you can get the motion down and then judge whether or not it works for you. Also remember to stop if you feel any kind of pain from excessive range of motion. Other than that, just practice! ??
