a quiet morning corner - complete with all the necessary items - comfy pillows, good reading an a fresh pot of coffee - sorry to have be a bit absent here, but I’ve been feeling a need to retreat within and focus on what lies ahead, making my own headspace and preparations as needed .

But feeling happy with where things are, it’s just a waiting game now - waiting for baby o’ to make his or her debut into this world. What do you think, boy or girl? .

I can’t wait to share sunrises and fresh air and the sound of crickets at night with this new little one - so much wonder awaits .

in the meantime, progress on the city cottage continues - head to stories to see a little peak at the front hall progress - complete with new reclaimed oak flooring, a transom cutout to the hall and just a little glimpse at the bathroom reno .
