Ok...it has taken me almost a full week to calm down enough to share the extraordinary thing that happened last Saturday. My favorite mixed media maven, whimsical lady maker, magical art supply creator @janedavenport CAME TO MY HOUSE AND MADE ART WITH US!!!I’m still freaking out a little quite honestly. It was so incredible for me and the girls to host such a talented artist who is just as effervescent and joyful and kind as I imagined...maybe even more so!
I have been following Miss Janes work and binging her beautiful supplies for the last year and a half now. I’ve taken several of her online classes and watch her YouTube tutorials constantly. Her lovely spirit and passion for art have come to be an almost daily fixture in my life so when she reached out after I posted about my love for her and suggested we have a rosé art day in Utah I about lost my mind. Just ask @joshbkelley and the kids! With gracious spontaneity and a generous spirit she adjusted her travel plans to spend a day at the Kelley house where we had the most amazing “arty party” while soaking ourselves in rosé. It was beyond incredible, more fun than I could have ever imagined and full of creativity, connection, story telling, laughter, music and joy! What an amazing gift she gave us all by sharing her time, her talent and her passion with us. She left us all a lot more inspired, eager to take creative risks, make messes and take more notice of the beauty all around us. I am so grateful for the out of the blue wonderful ness of Jane’s visit and can’t wait to host her again!! Come back @janedavenport we miss you already!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
