Climbing has meant a lot of different things to me over the years. It’s been a vehicle to see the world. It’s brought joy. It's brought sorrow. It’s introduced me to some of my best friends and it’s taken a few away. It’s been a compass for my work and play for over 25 years. More than anything, climbing has added depth, character and more adventures than I can remember to this life. Happy to be celebrating Global Climbing Day tomorrow Saturday Aug 18. @ザ・ノースフェイス is hosting free climbing events in gyms and locations around the country. For every Global Climbing Day participant, @ザ・ノースフェイス is donating $1 to the @KhumbuClimbingCenter dedicated to teaching responsible climbing practices through community based programs.
