Spent the day at #Petra today. It was not enough time. Came around a corner and was met by this breathtaking sight. The Treasury building, carved out of the cliff-face around the 1st century BC. Stunning. And the city just kept unfolding more and more intricately around us as we continued down the main thoroughfare. This place was difficult for me to fathom...the work involved, the artistry, the scope and size. The sacrifice. Petra is truly a wonder.
