first day of first grade ? I’m feeling super emotional today. As a young single mom, I was overwhelmed A LOT when the girls were babies. My parents lived halfway across the country and I didn’t have much help. It was hard for me to go anywhere with them. I honestly couldn’t wait for them to grow up and be a little more independent. Now that’s starting to happen and I so regret thinking that way! I get a lot of messages from single mom’s asking for advice and that would be a big one. Don’t get so overwhelmed that you feel like you want to rush through time. Take a deep breath, & savor every little moment of those chaotic years because someday you’ll miss them! ❤️ so proud of this cutie!
